Was looking at the news, and thinking abt that line, "They put one of ours in the hospital we put one of theirs in the morgue!" Except these psychopaths don't care how many of ours die, so Iran threatening the US isn't going to work. The current admin does not care how many American soldiers die.

Guy wrote that he put someone in jail on the testimony of a rape victim and later heard the "victim" tell a friend she had lied and made the whole thing up. Almost certainly a mendacious story, but if true it's damning that he brought the prosecution without doing due diligence. Made me furious.

True story: I sent a guy to jail on a very similar accusation. Later, the victim was recorded by her friend, bragging how she had lied and made up the rape accusation because she was mad at him for something else. The girl went to police with the tape. The "victim" fled the state. 1/

In 2024, the Biden administration implemented a rule that protected Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients living in households eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) from benefit reductions. This protection applied even if the SSI recipients shared food or housing costs with the household. The rule recognized that SNAP-eligible households were already financially strained and not in a position to subsidize others.

Egads. The discourse on how Bhavitha Mandava was done dirty by Chanel is "interesting". Idk if someone of her stature *could* say 'No' to Chanel. (Didn't know of her but I'm not a fashion hound, just a news/info junkie.) The accusations of racism etc. made me think of Chanel's behavior during WWII.
