Enzo: the contact with the club was not at the start of the year but at the start of the summer. I’m excited about the challenge ahead. #ManCity
Enzo: age of players doesn’t matter, when they’re good they’re good. We’ll need to solve the little mistakes as soon as possible. Doku had planned only 45 minutes in Cardiff but he had a problem and will be out 2-3 weeks. #ManCity
Enzo: Phil Foden had a good game against Arsenal, sharp and good. Cherki & Foden are quite similar but can play together. Competition is good for players. I think we have a good squad for sure. We’ve made big changes but that doesn’t mean we’re not ready to compete. #ManCity
Enzo: we are a club that can’t wait to compete. There are changes but we must win from the beginning. When we win everyone is happy. We don’t have numbers that we need to come in. We know what we need and we see in the next ten days. #ManCity
Enzo: Apart from Rodri the players who might leave is because they don’t get the minutes they want. We’ll see if Marmoush leaves or stays. I’m not worried about what we need and we are working together - there are 10 days to go. #ManCity

Enzo: it’s difficult to convince players like Trafford and Reijnders to stay if they don’t always play once they’ve made their mind up. It’s a big challenge after losing Bernardo but we have no doubt Anderson will be great over the coming years. #ManCity
Enzo: I don’t think it’s correct to talk about players at other clubs, like Fernandez. I’ll talk to Rodri later. We have improved game by game in preseason now we have to prove in competitive games. Savinho couldn’t train yesterday, we’ll see today. Haaland is ok #ManCity
Enzo: for me the Community Shield is a trophy and not a friendly do well do all we can to win. Arsenal have shown for a few years what a great team they are. Window is open so anything can happen but I just saw Rodri in the building and I gave him a big hug #ManCity

Pep: in England everyone tries their best I have no doubts that Burnley will try their hardest tonight. #ManCity
Pep: I haven’t spoken to Semenyo but I’m sure he’ll be ok going back there. Both teams need to win. Yesterday we recovered and today we will train. Everyone is fit not, shame it wasn’t like that six months ago. #ManCity
Pep: Bournemouth have had ten days to prepare, we’ve had three days but we know what we have to do. I’ll probably take a look at the Arsenal game tonight. Not having the fate in our hand sometimes happens. We don’t train much when we have only three days. #ManCity
Pep: it’s better to go to Bournemouth having won the FACup but they have won 16-17 games and we know we have to win. They have always been tough games there. Last season was one of our worst performances there. #ManCity
Pep: Wembley is a special place of course. If I’ve been there 24 times with City maybe there should be a Pep lounge or stand (laughing) Hopefully it’ll be a nice day and we are desperate to do well. I’ll review when we drew 1-1 here with them when I’m on the train today #ManCity
Pep: we want to win the FACup for our fans. It costs a lot for them to support us and we appreciate that, we’ll try and do it for them. When big clubs are not in a perfect situation that’s when the teams step up. #ManCity
Pep: our fourth FACup Final and hopefully we do better the last times we were in the Final. We’ll see if Rodri is available, he’ll travel - everyone else is fit. Team selection will not be influenced by next week’s game against Bournemouth #ManCity
