As awesome as it was seeing Gabby Forza win the @lwmaine.bsky.social world championship last night, my fav moment was the broadcast ending with Dijak *literally* sobbing after losing the title.
Barn Cat was on hand dispensing expert help with the garden this morning. The robins were not happy about it.

My Nan’s father was in the 24th (2nd picture)- weird kismet that same regiment that took her all over the world as a child, also marched by the cabin where she lived in rural VT, hundreds of years prior
I had a fun (and exhausting) time in 1777 this weekend falling in w the 24th of foot at the battle of Hubbardton. I grew up in Hubbardton, so the battle has always been very meaningful to me - it was a real treat and education to take part in the reenactment.
Love this quote from Thomas Merton. I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be an artist, connections that exist outside of industry, academia, and commerce. My father is an incredible artist, but he rarely shares his work. Yet, privately, his work has impacted my life profoundly.
The fierce rivalry / not-not-friendship between the moonlight son and Travis Huckabee remains one of the best long term stories in grind. Travis attacking Mike was another twist in the saga. Will skyros get a chance for tag team revenge? What does F.I.S.T stand for? grinders (grindiacs?) gotta know!
the real shocker was our grand champion, Andy brown, aligning himself with one of the most crooked managers in the territory, ex-wwf hall of famer Sidney Bakabella. Andy clearly didn’t think he had enough in the tank to get the win, and had to sell out to get it done. A true heartbreaker!
Insane show from @grindpuro.bsky.social last night. Something about grind and those dog days of early summer, hits like nothing else. Huge wins for Elle Valentine (great match v @delmiexo.bsky.social) and Jay Freddie. Dante drago was hilarious as always.
I don’t think I could have got a tune out of that economics book as recently as a couple years ago. I’ve been pushing myself to read a lot, and more widely, so soon I’ll be like Neo in the matrix but my power will be knowing history stuff no one wants to hear about. Making big connections. Next up:

‘merry Christmas’ lmao It is amazing to me how relevant the English Revolution is to our current “huge mess”. Reading about the AMOC collapsing while the American oligarchs wage an incoherent religious war, really giving me those “end times” vibes. A fragile natural balance, god, left for dead.
Seabass v Rudy Lockhart was awesome, definitely seek that one out. It was great to see those guys back from the Maritimes (this time thankfully without the messianic madman Covey Christ)

Great time at Green Mountain Wrestling today in Barre. I hadn’t been to Barre since god knows when. Lots of good tag team action and lots of my Pro Wrestling Grind favorites, including their champion, @mskyros.bsky.social, Delmi Exo, and Ryan Mooney. Super impressed w Guapo Suave. Fun!
