I managed to get a snap on my phone by being a brave adult and simply asking the nice people behind me (and ofc offering the same in return), but yeah just had a real “guess I’m not important enough lol” imposter syndrome moment that I had to quickly shake off before going in.
This is the first time I’ve ever been invited to a musical preview. As a big theatre fan I was SO excited. So to find myself in a nightclub with no seats (I wore heels 😭) and no view of the stage (even in heels 😭) honestly was so deflating. Cast sang well. This song was my fave. Weird night.

I’m feeling really fortunate that I don’t really get fed these opinions on social media anymore (mainly after leaving twitter). Also most stuff I saw - even in the general comment section of the livestream - was fun stuff like “DAD OF BOY, MOM OF CUBE”. Also Kratos was literally in the trailer lol.
PROOF. I took a close up picture of my sofa for a plain background, and then used the basic pen tools in my default photo app. It took 2 minutes but it should be fairly clear who it is. Stop melting the planet to “own” or “slam dunk” a dude who LOVES AI and will probably never see your post.

Spotify of course adds a layer of difficulty by ONLY letting you end your subscription on their desktop site, and not in app or in a browser on a tablet. It’s a laptop/desktop only deal. “We know it’s not ideal” Yeah we KNOW you know, and that THAT’S why you removed the option to do it in-app 🙃
Finally cancelled my Spotify premium. One of those admin tasks I kept “meaning to do”. Transferred my playlists to a new service. I’m done giving my money to company that is fine having their platform flooded with unethical AI slop, and spending their profits on other, even more unethical things
I made a couple of impulse purchases from @liquoricelino.bsky.social after stumbling across their Etsy and I fear it may be the best decision I’ve ever made.

Can I just say how proud I am of the gaming community for their reaction to NVIDIA’s DLSS 5 completely changing Grace from Resi 9 to some weird idealised gen AI model? Grace is already a very pretty character model that fits certain beauty standards, and yet that still wasn’t good enough for AI.
