"Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving." Albert Einstein
That time when The Justice League got a dose of reality and got their collective asses handed to them. ☝️🤨-It was truly a learning experience for them all, even for Batman who was, after all, the source of the JLA's defeat.
🤔-Ummm, wait a sec., hold up...hold up; someone's trying to pull a fast one me with this cover change. . ☝️🤨-I wasn't born yesterday, I see the discrepancy here; according to Kryptonian tradition, Supergirl was too young to be married. therefore, this cover can't possibly be inaccurate. . (🤣👍)
That time when The Avengers got a dose of reality and got their collective asses handed to them. ☝️🤨-It was truly a learning experience for them all; especially for Hercules and poor ole Jarvis.
But, as Bruce once said: [rooms] "don't hit back." . You, Kal El...are now facing someone who can 'hit back'; a man... 👊😏-a Batman. . (To be continued)
Wait a sec., hold up...hold up; Batman made a hissy-fit about the Justice League and left the team to make his own group of heroes... only to kiss & make up and reconnect with the same JLA several issues later? . ☝️🤣-Jeez, make up your mind, Bats; you're SO moody!
Poor Alfred looks worried that some of his secrets are about to come out too. 🫣
As in the case of unsubstantiated claims of beings, places, words/statements, and events concerning religion(s), the same holds true concerning Trump's claims of election fraud: absent of tangible proof and evidence, such 'claims' are exactly that... claims. In other words: "Put up or shut up."
Galactus tried to eat Earth 616, but was defeated by The Fantastic Four, 3 Avengers, and Doctor Strange; he devised another strategy: go to a different Earth and eat it. But on Earth One, the JLA stopped him. He then concluded to eat a different Earth of a different era. The JSA stopped him too.
I see I'm going to have to add these to the Legends Of The Dark Knight: Michael Golden volume I already have, not because it features Batman, but because it features Jim Aparo. Sometimes you just get in the mood to enjoy a particular artist's art style and for me, at this time...it's Jim Aparo. 🤓👍
When I got home from work I was in an odd mood to watch this 86 classic: The Golden Child. Ok, perhaps not a classic, but still, it has its moments. ☝️🤣-"I want the knife." Makes me think: is it possible that the Golden Child character became MCU Shang-Chi/Wong? 🤔 'Numsie' was actually Loki? 🤔
Plot twist... ☝️🤨-Donna and Kory are the Skrulls he's suspecting; and minus Vision and Jocasta, all of the Avengers shown on the monitors are actually Dire Wraiths. Only Nightwing is who he's supposed to be; ☝️🤓-yep, he's the real Dick. . (😂👍)
In the future... THIS is going to be the state and existence of the Big 2; combined, coalesced, and current. When? 🤷♂️-I don't know. But the more important question is: Which company will buyout the other? 🤔?
Ummm, wait a sec., hold up...hold up; something looks different AND familiar about this cover. 🤔-Hm. . (🤣👍-A cool blending of cover characters).
Kirby's art looks great in color, but I tell ya... 👊🤓-his pencil art alone is DOPE!!!
To be an Avenger... you HAVE to be able to stand with your feet apart at a distance that's equal to the length of one's leg. ☝️😂-As shown here.
Let's have a comic book fanboy, but a business and economically serious discussion about this. 1st question: With the early projection (of a $550 million worldwide opening), why is the live-action Spider-Man movie franchise (seemingly) immune to the effects of the so-called "superhero fatigue"? 🤔
🫣-Ummm, I hope this is from an issue of 'What If?' or F.O.O.M., perhaps.
Then again, via a [2010] remake of the 1981 film, Liam Neeson's Zeus' iconic utterance of it.
Then Zeus utters the same phrase in 1981's Clash Of The Titans.
Apparently, the only way that the Krakken could be unleashed onto the world was for it to hear this specific phrase: "Release The Krakken!" In 1980, in episode 6 of Thundarr The Barbarian (Attack Of The Amazon Women), queen Stryia utters it.
😡-Man, what is up with all of these cloudy/rainy days?? I mean, for much of May and most of June, all we've been having are cloudy days with a prospect of rain. How am I supposed to wash my car when rain is in the forecast each day. ☝️🤣-Priorities. Can we have at least 1 week of CLEAR blue skies?
I wonder how much more (or less) popular and successful The MATRIX film would've been had it instead been titled: Mr. Anderson. . No, it isn't quite as intriguing and mysterious sounding as 'The MATRIX', but... ☝️🤣-it might've caught on.
Well, this work week is FINALLY over; I already got my grocery shopping done, I'm now home, about to fire up the grill for 'actual' ham-topped hamburgers w/cheese, & deep fried french fries, a cold beer, and to watch the 1st TRON film. Off to a GREAT start! ✌️😉-I hope you ALL will have a GREAT 4th!
Well, it looks like I'm going to have a TRONtastic(?) holiday weekend once this 3-pack gets delivered today. 🫣-"TRONtastic"? Yeah, that's a horrible reference; I'm sorry.
😉👍-This moth(?) goes so well with the stone it's chilling on.
I tell you what... Jim Lee has always delivered the goods and blown us away with killer visuals, but during the first couple of years of image, damn... he was on 🔥🔥🔥🔥! Take this cover of issue # 7 of WILDC.A.T.S, for example. And the inside is equally explosive! Chiodo's cover colors are SWEET!
