There is only 1 way to make a perfect martini, equal parts sweet and dry vermouth.
Right so the idea of the "3 martini lunch" has its roots in Don Draper style 60's bisiness bros However Martinis were served much smaller back then. Have 3 60ml Martinis at lunch these days you're necking 120-150 ml of gin, you'd wobble back to work. Come to my house & you'd need to be rolled back
This is a pretty standard "dry" ratio, the notable thing about how the Connaught plays with its recipes is in the flavours of bitters they use
