Sounding the alarm bells on this one now Several of VFur’s founding members promote and uplift the use of genAI voices on their channels, indicating that there *is no team-wide policy against the use of AI generated assets.* TTS Monster explicitly utilizes the voices of non-consenting people.

Two bluesky posts from @smilkyshake.com that read:

kind of an open question for anyone who has the answer: what’s vfur’s policy on genAI? i’ve noticed several of its top creators using this AI text to speech thing which i find pretty repulsive. like. i as a voice actor wouldn’t want my name next to this. if there’s something i’m missing here lmk

THE KEYBOARD TOUR EPISODE 5: My NMB RT101+ keyboard with tactile gray Space Invaders! These switches are weeeeeird. They’re more tactile on the upstroke than on the downstroke… I didn’t really like them at first but they’ve definitely grown on me! They’re heavy and chunky in a good way imo :]

THE KEYBOARD TOUR EPISODE 3: My Lenovo Thinkpad KU-1255 with scissor switches! A very weird outlier in my collection…. It’s literally a laptop keyboard but it’s not attached to a laptop lol Build quality kinda sux but the switches are weirdly tactile and satisfying! Plus I love the mouse nipple hehe

THE KEYBOARD TOUR EPISODE 2: My modded KeyChron K2 with Gateron Pro Red switches! I tape modded the PCB and the spacebar to dampen the sound a bit. The stabs might need to be re-tuned but otherwise I think it sounds pretty good! The caps are XDA profile PBT dye-subs :)
