The By Night We Hunt alpha/playtest/ashcan/call it what you will edition isn’t too far off now, so how about some previews? As a treat :) #ttrpg
very glad aetherdrift wasn’t super well liked cause I got some packs for very cheap and pulled this beauty
destiny 2 is dead which means I am exclusively coming up with the world's stupidest builds
he was just resting his eyes. just. resting his eyes. he woke up from a nightmare believing he had barely any more time to live and his first thought was Ada pulling through a similar scare. I'm gonna lose my goddamn mind
leon campaign done. this last stretch was everything I could've wanted and more. bonus points for making Requiem a thousand times better in retrospect in learning what "I was just resting my eyes" is a reference to.
every now and then I remember the guide my team made for Rhulk on day one and I giggle
update 2: the gameplay is rocky but the cutscenes go hard and I once again stand by the idea that games should've never looked better than this
proof that liking FFXV makes you cool and based and good at making games
update: 4-5 hours into Leon's campaign and the story has me gripped, some of the areas are composed and lit so beautifully I'm stopping in the middle of a zombie attack just to get screenshots, and every 20 minutes the game rips me from the moment to slam me into a QTE-filled setpiece.
game's hanging on by a thread and the meta doesn't matter anymore, I'm letting the brainworms win and making the stupidest and probably least effective build I've ever come up with. do you see the vision.
casual insurrection pantheon run last night, Bungie absolutely cooked with the reworked encounters (especially Consecrated Mind)
the boulder punch, however, was as stupid and over the top as I hoped it would be. never change, Chris Redfield, never change.
continuing the RE series playthrough, last night I wrapped up 5’s base game co-op with a friend. very fun gameplay-wise but not scary in the slightest— an action flick more than anything else. surprisingly pretty for a game that seemed determined to use shades of green for most of its palette.
it's 2026, months since I last played. #destiny2 gets its last update soon, and I just sherpa'd someone through their first Last Wish cause they mentioned they'd never done it before, and they wanted a shot at One Thousand Voices. they got their exotic, and I'll be here till the servers go down.
no thoughts head empty just this bouncing around in there like a dvd screensaver.
whenever I travel I hit up used book stores to see if I can’t fill out my Redwall collection, and today I scored
And that's a wrap on OG Resident Evil 4. All killer no filler, nothing to say that hasn't been said before. If I'd played this at thirteen it would've become a fundamental part of my personality.
finally pulled myself one of the elder dragons, and some more neat stuff in the same pack to boot 👀
yeah no I think having dev teams where people trust The Hallucination Machine over their own coworkers is great. I actually love it when people regurgitate a bad summary of some stack overflow pages at me and pretend it's a rock solid argument that their idea is better.
One of the new strixhaven cards reminded me of Booker and I couldn't help but start tinkering with a deck idea and a proxy to go along with it.

I’m sure I’ll look at this in a few days and kick myself for forgetting one game or another, but off the top of my head here we go:
