Indulged Cats

Mostly cats and gardening. Juvenile chronic kidney disease tortitude, crazy wannabe cuddly tabby, and goofball longhair cats live here. Golden Retrievers are the best dogs.
Impressive! One of our plants was defoliated by caterpillars. The remaining leaves and stems are working hard to ripen the fruit.
Good catch. That's the size lizard Molly is intent on catching in our garden. We've put out lots of protection, but she's an excellent lizard catcher. We tried to catch it to relocate to front yard but haven't succeeded yet. Time will tell who wins. For now, bugs in the shade are her targets.
Vaccinate your pets against rabies. Molly just got her booster. Even though she's outside only with supervision, you never know when wildlife might be around. #CatsOfBluesky #cats #DogsOfBluesky #dogs
I'm home from the vet. Mom removed the bandage from my leg and tried to wash some of the alcohol off my belly and legs. Jeez, they must have spilled 1/2 a bottle of alcohol on me! And I got a tube of licky treat (salmon). Now I'll try to clean myself in the warm backyard.
Mom says I get a squeezy tube of chicken puree. Luckily we live close to the vet and I'll be home in about 5 minutes. And they'll try to wash the alcohol stink off my tummy.
I've been catnapped and taken to the vet for my annual exam. Ive been weighed and proded and now they're going to poke me for blood & urine and give me my rabies vaccination. Pesky humans!
The wind-blown butterfly bush flowers are still attractive to butterflies.
Some backyard color today. Unfortunately, the 2-day wind storm seems to have sapped the flowers of their vigor.
Based on the similar plants we grow, you'd think we are neighbors, not living on opposite sides of the country. Our gardenia.
Making the noodles uniform width requires an adjustable pastry cutter. I'mnot sure about the measurements, maybe ohms or angstrom. 🤣
Open-face PB&J on toasted bread with a few tortilla chips (end of the bag today) is my lunch almost every day.
Here's a huge planting of flowering azaleas we saw while running errands yesterday.
The descriptions at the end are funny. Did it this time on a desktop monitor. Will try again tonight when the room is dark.
