In my mailbox today was a dog tag for my sweet beagle, Mrs. Beasley, who died 25 years ago, with the address of a home I sold in 1994. It was taped to a handwritten note with my current address and the words "Beasley needs a new dog tag." It's going to drive me insane to never know the back story!
