New background Illustration I finished earlier this week for @aplottwist.bsky.social who just debuted her new model! As well as a sparklier variation done with the guidance of @wyvernry.bsky.social It's always a treat doing work for Plot and I'm so proud of how this background turned out!

I am particular delighted with how this birthday piece for @devarian.bsky.social turned out. From working in all the references to the game, to specific runs, and even using the redacted words from the in game codex to make the border.

A birthday sketch done for Devarian, featuring him on an executive office chair with game references around him. He stands precariously against a lodespear from the game, balanced over the walking box which is holding a security gun in its mouth. Kylie dangles as a trinket from the chair, while a slice of cake, a mug of coffee from the facility resting on the arms of the chair. A slice of molded toast floats between Dev and Leyak who is holding onto the back of the chair. The entire piece has a border of redacted words to frame the sides of the sketch.

I realized I didn't have my reference just at an easy to get to spot. So here he is!

Reference sheet of a plague doctor character, his mask utilizing a portion of a large bird skull. The reference sheet also includes alternative hats, outfits, some breakdowns for the outfit (like the vest damask), and themed snacks. As well as a little section of emotes.

Hi #portfolioday I'm Ink! I draw a lot more than I post and I'm hoping to branch into more fun projects and pieces this year.

A giant horned sea monster comes up from the depths, the top of her head and her fingers just peeking out of the water. Her hand wrapping around a boat with a lantern off the front of it. Inside the boat is a sleeping sailor adrift at sea. Her hair drifts around the boat, her chest has a pointed toothy maw and eyes. Her hip is cluttered with a collection of items: a megalodon jaw, a dinghy, an old diving suit, a pirate flag, planks with ship names, and a broken birdcage prison. All held to her skirt by ropes and anchors. The illustration is a soft yellow light over a green base, with hints of red in the shadows.

A plague doctor walks through a snowy night, way only lit by a lantern that slowly drifts out smoke. A big cloak against the cold, and darkness reaching into the treeline beyond the light of the lantern.

A plague doctor with a lantern walks into a dark tower, rafters with overgrown plants and wallpaper peeling to reveal brick surround hanging potions, cauldrons, and various objects over a workspace in disarray. A cabinet with a broken shelf, a painting burnt away, and a desk with chair upturned adorn this space. To the front of the image is a staircase going further down the tower with shelves of curios dug into the wall as a grid of reliefs.

I know I've basically been missing the last two months, but I am super appreciative of each and every one of you who have followed me. My goal was 500 by the end of the year, and we've already blown past that to 600. Thank you all very much, I hope to be back to streaming more regularly soon!

With the exception of all the sketches and roughs of the two big pieces, and the figure drawing that I've already posted here. These were all the pieces I did for Mayhem, and I could not be more pleased with the results. I'm looking forward to doing another monthly art challenge again in the future.
