The 2026 #NANPS plant sale is this Saturday! Yours truly will be at the wet plants table again and is happy to talk about gardening with #NativePlants. Herbaceous plants are $7 and woody plants are $14, with some exceptions. Come early, as last year we sold half the plants within an hour!

While I'm thinking about it, the Gachiakuta anime has some of the most stylish character designs I've seen in a while. The animation is really distinct too. I think I'm going to like this one a lot.

What video games ignited your passion for gaming? The Secret of Monkey Island Tyrian Fire Emblem Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (The first two were courtesy of the DOS emulator my dad set up.)

Same! My favourite childhood books had beautifully illustrated covers that hinted at the contents. I find the more recent stock-photo or single-symbol covers less interesting.

You're welcome! There's a toggle under Accessibility to require alt text before posting images. I find that helps a lot!

I don't think you can edit existing posts, sadly. For new posts, there's an "+ ALT" button that appears on images in your draft. If you click that, a field appears to add the text. (I also clicked the "Require alt text before posting" box under Accessibility so I get a reminder.)

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you? It's a coin flip if I'd be rescued dramatically or die for the plot, but there will be CGI flower petals either way.
