Nintendo Power ran a 12-issue comic telling a variant story of A Link to the Past, including an original character called Roam, who can be further researched at this link: https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Roam . The character that Dooficus posted looks ABSURDLY similar to a panel from this comic, Chapter 8, Page 1, top-right panel, to such a degree that it activated a memory in my mind which laid 30 years dormant.

I beg you to research and understand that this is a severe diminishing and dismissal of what Spann spent his career and platform promoting. You are correct that he does not deserve threats for it, but you do not have to exonerate him, either.

Spann asserted in 2007 that it is money from research grants rather than genuine science that fuels support for the global warming hypothesis:

Billions of dollars of grant money is flowing into the pockets of those on the man-made global warming bandwagon. No man-made global warming, the money dries up. This is big money, make no mistake about it. Always follow the money trail and it tells a story. Even the lady at "The Weather Channel" probably gets paid good money for a prime time show on climate change. No man-made global warming, no show, and no salary. Nothing wrong with making money at all, but when money becomes the motivation for a scientific conclusion, then we have a problem. For many, global warming is a big cash grab.[

Made the plum torte by Marian Burros for my first time, but reminder: the NYT sucks. Find the recipe any of like, 30 other places. Also one of my plums was bad and I had to skimp. Cram them in if you have them! This is too sparse (but still delicious).
