Mom just finalized everything for her 2019 Kona Electric! After the used EV tax credit and her Ford Fusion trade-in ($1250) it came out to about $8.8k. I verified that the HV battery was replaced at 28k miles so it only has 66k miles on it. The rest of the car is at 94K and is clean as a whistle.
The first photos of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N were just released as a sneak peak prior to it's unveiling at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 10th.
Looks like Plug N Charge is coming to 2025 Ioniq 5 for IONNA and Tesla Superchargers! This looks like a VCU update, not an infotainment update. The literature does say "starting with 2025 Ioniq 5" so I'm asuming it will be coming to the older EVs. owners.hyundaiusa.com/us/en/resour...
A Reddit Ioniq 6 owner just confirmed they received the email to claim their free NACS to CCS adapter. They said they’ll be going out through the end of May. Can we all agree that we’ll stop asking about it now?
March ccNC update adds a really useful setting for rout planning. This is unreleased software but should be available soon.
Today marks the last full day I own my 22 Ioniq 5 🥺 Tomorrow I'll be heading up to NH where I'm selling her to Green Wave Electric Vehicles in North Hampton. If you're interested in purchasing her, she'll be available relatively soon.
Kia has unveiled the upcoming EV4 sedan and hatchback. More details to come in the next couple weeks. Which version do you prefer?
I finally got to drive the Ioniq 6 RWD in the snow today and man, I am very impressed! Stay tuned for the full video
Last stop of the night before I settle in in Columbus Ohio. Loving the NACS situation at this Ionna station! Change of plans for tomorrow as the boiler at my house that I’m renting out is on the fritz so I’ll be stopping in CT to investigate and repair before heading back to Boston.
Made it to Kansas City, albeit a little later than anticipated. I cannot wait to share with you guys my thoughts on this revised Ioniq 5! After 700 miles today I’ve got a great sense of the improvements but there are a several gripes too! Hoping to get the road trip video out this weekend!
BIG NEWS! Say hello to my new 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited AWD in Digital Teal with the dark green interior courtesy of Stevinson Hyundai of Frederick. Picking it up in Denver on Monday and immediatley heading back to Boston with it! Is there a better way to test it out? I think not!
Ready to start testing NACS chargers. I bought the A2Z adapter as based on reviews it sounded like this was built the best and I’ll say, it is solid (over 1kg.) I’ll bring it with me to the Ionna Rechargery next week and maybe get to test it out there since some of the stations are NACS equipped.
I'll be taking one last road trip in my Ioniq 5 to Apex, NC for stress testing of the new Ionna charging station there. My charging slot if 11-11:20am but I'll be hanging out most of the day so swing by and say hi if you're in the area! Sign up here: www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4AA8...
It sounds like Tesla Superchargers are now open to Hyundai EVs when you utilize an adapter at their stations. Up until now it was limited to only stations with built in Magic Docks. I was not expecting this so I'm not able to go test myself today but I ordered one for delivery tomorrow for testing.
