Today we walked on long the beach! Straight and flat! Something else walked there before us.
So if I donate $100 to the Red Cross at Walmart, the company gets to claim my donation and I get the satisfaction that some of my money will help someone. I detest these donation requests at large corporations. My answer is always the same, I have my charities that I support.
I’m still using my mom’s grater from the ‘60s. The rubber is a bit dry but it outlasted my food processor from the 80’s.
We went for walk today and came across a painted trillium, a bit past prime and Lady’s slippers, not quite at prime!
This will be my meat for the month. I’ll pick up some breaded haddock and salmon from the Seafood store to go along with it. It’s great when you can buy directly.

What does Alberta hope to gain by being a separate country? Do they really believe that the rest of Canada has never helped them out. Who helps them during droughts, fires, floods? Do they only listen to CPC and trump talking points?

Just back from a walk a few kms from my place. A few of the things we saw-
I live close to the town of Stratford, PEI and this summer they hired muralists from across Canada.Here are a few of their works decorating town buildings.
Spent the day exploring parts of PEI. This is the last weekend to visit Green Gables for free and as I hadn’t been there for 20 years I decided to go. It has changed greatly for the better in that time. Lovers lane and the Haunted Woods trails are much longer for walkers.
This just appeared as an Apple News highlight-I don’t subscribe so I don’t get the entire story. Another reason to avoid US travel.
