In Vancouver, I watched the north shore mountains disappear. In Windsor, it’s Detroit that fades away. Everywhere the grief and rage that it’s come to this.

Bought this at a vintage/record sale today. Published in Windsor in 1974 by Mile One Publications, which was affiliated with Facing Reality in Detroit. Turned out that the vendor was one was one of the authors(!?!)

“The Social Character of Rights and the Limits of Adjudication”

In this talk, Prof. Moon will consider two themes that have recurred in his writing: first, that constitutional rights do not simply protect individual autonomy but instead protect different aspects of human flourishing or dignity in the community, and second, that courts, as adjudicative bodies, are unable to give full or even significant protection to these rights.
