I got lucky and bought an XA back when they were still reasonably cheap and got it in working condition. I loved that lil camera, but yeahhh aging electronics are definitely a killer... Can take some really lovely photos though!

My best guess would be it's a corruption of the brief fad of werewolf media in the 80s. Like Jason Vorhees being associated with using a chainsaw I can't find a specific character from that era that wears the stereotypical red plaid, but at least Michael J Fox's character wears /a/ plaid shirt

Nikon motor drives are heaps of fun. Though I imagine the MD-2 is a lot more... refined, than the F36 motor drive on my original F :V

i adore this, but i've never taken the time to look at DAMD's other offerings outside of the 70s van conversions and stuff and then i found they made this as a conversion for a Jimny i don't know how to feel about this
it's extremely nice to fiddle with, but also unfortunately a selenium cell auto cam. the one on mine is either dead or needs to be cleaned of corrosion because it doesn't react to light i also have the flash adapter if i wanted to cosplay as Kolchak the Night Stalker for some godforsaken reason
