Here's a picture of Gilmore (on left & darker than Ghost) and Hendrix as kittens drinking from the kitchen tap!
Just a wee reminder: please keep them on a lead or in their carriers for the whole journey and keep paws off the seats/tables, as some people have allergies. Meet wee Tynie! 👇
Haven't read it all yet but there's this from Feb 2017 which reflected my thought that he'll want to have Manchester as the capital of the UK next and as previously mentioned 'his' tower blocks will increase in value.
Hendrix, our grumpy old man cat of 17 human years of age: It's too hot to even play with my toys, just have to rest, sleep and snore
Our rescue kitten taking a similar stance to sniff a piece of wood on the deck! Never seen it before but now I see it happens, probably more often in the wild.
Wood pigeons eating the buds/flowers from our hawthorn - they come every spring when it flowers but never depleat it completely as there are always berries in the autumn
Well it's good these unelected peers will soon no longer have any day in our government
#NationalPoetryMonth A good time to share this poem my father wrote April 1958 when staying in Chakrata recovering from a respiratory illness. I'm not religious, my parents were but I love the analogy made with the ice & snow from the Hymalayas providing the water for the Indian plains. 1/
"Everything is connected" With everything happening across the world, I am reminded of the story about the elephants and mice. www.vedantu.com/stories/the-...
Good night and Merry Christmas particularly from Hendrix in his favourite Christmas tree spot! Going to be too busy next few days!
Passed on a horse chestnut sapling which kindly grew when planted in a pot in our garden. It first sprouted in 2020, so now it will continue growing in a Charvil park to commemorate all who suffered during the COVID pandemic.
This account is so sad, these conditions should not be allowed anywhere and any company which allows such conditions should take this lady's advice on board.
Had great showers, some really heavy last couple of days which are very welcome after a very dry summer. Went outside to be greeted by a wonderful double rainbow. Happy Labour Day USA
We had ratties as our kids first pets. They were wonderful and we even took them on holiday to a caravan park or left them with my parents to care for whilst we were away 🙂 Here's one.
Taken to watching AlJazera for news information around the world. This clip was interesting. An associate professor called the war with Ukraine, a western "containment of Russia". Not heard this spin put out on the war before!
Had a fascinating delve into USA history this morning following reading a book by Elizabeth Davis. The following caught my attention:-
Was taking a look through a small window of history at the 6 day war in 1967, & the statistics from those 6 days as shown on Wikipedia are atrocious en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six-Day...
Hendrix Sunning himself in his favourite morning spot; when the sun's out obviously!
Hendrix, our grumpy gato, can't wait for Christmas - sitting under the tree before it's even decorated - or maybe it's his vote for it to be left bare!
Gilmore & Hendrix as kittens doing what cats like - drinking from the dripping tap!
Sleeping in the carrier would never happen now; too many trips to the 'v' 'e' 't' behind him!
