In #makeup news: Fenty Beauty are officially discontinuing their iconic pro filter matte foundation formula. Upon their initial release in 2017, Fenty launched 40 shades of their foundation, setting a new standard for inclusivity in the beauty space.
Initially the release of Patrick Ta’s transition blush line drew criticism from the #makeup community due to its hefty $80+ price tag. However, it was the claim that this was part of ‘his’ blush routine that raised the most ire.
Mecca have extended their Off Duty Blush Stick shade range, and today I picked up two of them: Mellow (terracotta brown) and Sunswept (pinky brown). This combination mimics the exact tones a weekend in the sun would give me instead of turning me orange like most bronzing products do. #makeup

If you’d asked me yesterday how many people owned guns in my suburb I’d have said 0. According to www.toomanyguns.org there is a non-collector with as many as 94 guns in my suburban Sydney post code.
I got a sample of the new Natasha Denona hy glam foundation today and am definitely underwhelmed. The coverage is fine, as is the shade match. But for $94 I expect a product that doesn’t emphasize all of my pores and fine lines like this. Will stick with my trusty Fenty pro filter #makeup

This week I picked up the Rimmel Blur it Out skin tint as it was on sale. I haven’t been excited by a new #makeup release in a while, but I was intrigued by the concept of a skin tint that also mattified. Most skin tints are glowy and not great on oily skin. Anyway, here are my thoughts 🧵

#makeup news update: I got a sample of the Haus Labs foundation in the shade 130 light warm. Like Mac, Haus Labs use ‘warm’ for cool undertones and ‘cool’ for warm undertones. Thus far I’m really impressed with the finish and longevity.
