Was about to snag a ticket for that hilariously bad looking ice cream splatter film, until I saw that Eli Roth (director) is another one who lost their god damned mind defending genocide.

As much as I agree with, and am proud to include Cory Doctorow's position on Surveillance Capitalism in my Master's Thesis, I just got a reminder of why Zuboff is still fucking awesome, and how both of their takes are great:

Looks like a far right (or at least nationalist) demonstration is taking place in town. Apparently they've already set a police car on fire (I don't think that's what's depicted here). I don't have my equipment, but I'll reply here with updates if I have any.

On a much less serious note, while clearing things out of my childhood home, my old 2005 Jackson WRMG and my first ever "gig-ready" amp resurfaced. The guitar is weirdly still in tune after a decade in a closet, and it absolutely rips. The amp, not so much. Trying it on a friend's rig tomorrow.

This is what these losers are hung up on when it comes to "free speech" and "weaponization of the justice system". There truly are no principles or self awareness in US libertarians, free speech absolutists, or conspiracy theorists.
