can't imagine why a wildly unpopular president who keeps talking about being a dictator for life is talking about his illegal/unconstitutional third term.
the interview is coming to the holly shorts film festival this year! congratulations and thank you to the whole cast and crew for all your stellar work! date & time coming soon but until then, here’s just a small taste of our movie…
can't imagine why a wildly unpopular president who keeps talking about being a dictator for life is willing to spend $292mil to house the national guard in dc indefinitely
white men have to learn the difference between just being a dude and toxic masculinity. no one gives a fuck if you own a truck or watch ufc. they’re more concerned about the implications of the punisher logo and blue lives matter flag on your truck and that your favorite ufc fighter’s a rapist.
And to the extraordinary actors, directors, writers, and production crew of Distress Signals II: Thank you. With every performance, you breathed words into truth through tireless dedication. We are incredibly grateful for the art, grit, and skill you brought to the stage during every performance.
Thanks to your patronage, our first two runs of The Distress Signals Project have now raised thousands of dollars for valuable service organizations such as Art Share LA, Support Black Theatre, Amazing Grace Conservatory, and St. Katharine Drexel Prep School for Girls.
Thank you for witnessing and supporting the bold storytelling, the intimate conversation, and the humanity that allow us to serve you and all our patrons. Your support keeps the magic of theatre and charitable service alive.
As we close our second Distress Signals Project, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you—our supporters, our donors, our audience. The Distress Signals Project relies on the passion and curiosity of our community. www.klaviyo.com/campaign/01K...
this is my summer read and some white folks may be surprised by how america actually got WORSE post-reconstruction.
playing the dual role of mister/ossifer in antoinette nwandu’s great american play, pass over, was one of the great honors of my artistic life. embodying 2 distinct manifestations of white supremacy, the brutal violence of ossifer, and the more insidious privilege of mister, was challenge enough .
motherfucker the country is collapsing into fascism and you’re writing a memoir maybe at least suit up for the game before you bitch about our lineup
wish i was wrong about these monsters, just once. www.instagram.com/p/DZqR0ASEyE...
i’m currently producing a show called the distress signals project. it’s a series of four short plays. the piece i wrote for the event is entitled southern cross, and features a fight over upside-down american flag (amongst other things).
