Bird Update: The White Pigeon has been re-homed to a Vet Tech whose Office specializes in Exotics. He now goes by Kevin and looks forward to living a long fulfilling bird life where he is no longer released into the wild for selfish reasons. Good luck, Kevin! 🕊️
Oh he’s chilling now. The Cats and Dog are my biggest concerns. I’ve got him in a crate with bird seed and water. I can’t keep it even though it’s very cool!!
Update: am I a bird dad now??? 😂 We have determined that it’s a White Racing Pigeon that may have gotten lost or didn’t return when released. Apparently some places release them like Doves for Weddings and Funerals. Now just need to find his actual home.
So this little guy showed up and can’t fly. Is this a pigeon or a dove?? Wonder is it’s someone’s pet or did it get injured? My dogs was going crazy so I was able to pick it up and get it in a crate. Do people have these as pets??

Holy shit it took me 3 hours to get home. Atlanta is not a real place…. I used to deal with this in Houston on the regular but I’ve never seen it happen in Downtown ATL.
