As we approach the release of The Odyssey I will continue to do the public service of letting you know that if you like Greek mythology you should read Song Of Achilles. It's a beautiful love story between Achilles and Patroclus. It's like Heated Rivalry if instead of hockey it was the Trojan War.

Really enjoyed The Slip. Multiple peoples stories around the disappearance of a young boxer in 1998, with a focus on themes of identity. Slow pacing at first and I was uncertain of it, but as all the seemingly separate stories interconnect and amplify each other it really picks up a frenetic speed.

'What Moves The Dead' is a creepy atmospheric novella inspired by 'The Fall Of The House Of Usher'. It's moody and clever, was a fun fast read.

With all this talk of The Odyssey it's a great opportunity for everyone to read Song Of Achilles and Circe by Madeline Miller. Which are, no contest, THE BEST modern interpretations of the classic Homeric Epics. I cannot put into words the praise these novels deserve.
