I specifically remember this game always crashing back to DOS when selecting your character after the introduction back in 94. The solution? Call Westwood, tell them your specs, and wait like a month for them to mail you a floppy disk with a patch. Pre widespread internet was a time!

Went on an amazing hike on Santa Cruz Island today. I have more shots to grab off my big camera, but these phone shots will do for now. Neither will do it justice.

Yesterday, I got to check out a vintage computer festival! It’s definitely the rose tinted glasses, but I miss when computers felt more fun, more personal. I had a great time, and it was fun to chat with some of the folks there. Also my dad would have loved something like this.
Something hella rad arrived today. Can’t believe I have this on vinyl now. Kid me (and current me) would be so happy! The quality of the box and prints of Toriyama’s artwork is top notch.
The Yoshi Rainbow has finally been unpacked! Desk is starting to feel normal again.
Forgot to say since it was late when I finished up, but everything went well and it powered up perfectly first try! I’m really happy with the new look!
I finally got my pc transplanted to a new case and all hooked up now! So, I remembered to look and here's some of the favs I found:
My pc case was cracked in the move, and I’ve been wanting a smaller case anyway (I really don’t need a full tower), so today is transplant surgery day!
Moving day! Movers came and got all my stuff, now I get to hang around until tomorrow morning tidying up a few leftover things. Really gonna miss this place, but excited to be on to new things!
