Earlier today, we both had the same idea, sitting out on the deck enjoying the nice weather. Grey Tree Frog (Hyla versicolor) Known for their ability to change colour, with skin that can range from green to brown or gray depending on temperature & activity

Grey Tree Frog opens eyes to me getting up close. Found the perfect spot on a wooden beam and doesn't move.

Known as a chameleon to their environments, grey tree frog is light-white grey, with black markings.
Has a little orange colour growth on L leg.
(not a tick)
