Woah! I just realized that if you select widescreen on any of the N64 games that support it, Switch’s N64 NSO app actually scales the game up to fill the whole screen rather than confining it to the 4:3 window! That’s very cool!!
Took this Anbernic RG-353PS emulation handheld I don’t use and set it up as a little indie game machine with Portmaster and Pico8! Finally have a way to play Doom RPG and Doom 2 RPG on the go again! Hoping this will also motivate me to finally finish Undertale.
15 years since i married the light of my life. at your side i’ve never wondered where in this world i belong.
they’re actually smaller than you’d probably expect at first glance!
Found these cool ass vintage Yahama speakers (with subwoofer!!) for $15 today. Would make incredible CRT speakers and would match my 20” PVM perfectly, but mannnnn I really want them on my desk. Tough call.
Did a little refurb on my launch 3DS. Replaced the rotted thumb pad, the scratched to screen cover, the battery, cleaned it out, then soft modded it. Still pretty scuffed up shell sadly, but she’s been through a lot lol. Can’t see myself going back to the OG so I’ll likely sell it.
Refurbished and sold some old emulation devices I don’t have a need for any longer. Can’t believe the GPD XD and Nvidia Shield Portable are both still going for ~$100!
this post on twitter has been blowing up and the replies are FULL of people who don’t realize that not all Switch 2 carts are key cards, or that key cards can be traded and resold lol can’t help but feel we’re so cooked
bless the developers of portmaster for making my kid obsessed with downwell
forced to wear all my trash outfits pre-vacation so i can serve across state lines next week
Verdict: this is a solid stick, likely the best under $100… but it still has issues. the extra sensitivity (far better than other 3rd party sticks tbf) means you’ll need more careful inputs. 8BitDo REALLY needs to add sensitivity and dead zone settings to the software, but overall it works. 7.5/10
alright. time for the business. i am convinced most of the “Goldeneye aged poorly” discourse is due to how bad it feels on a modern stick. things are rough here. “Control” is my go to test mission and i missed a LOT of headshots. very sensitive to small movements. i managed, but not ideal.
