Let's have a close up on this one! I'm especially proud of the hand on picture 2! The scales took me hours and I had to stop myself for the background ones. Details only on the focus. 😄 It was a great exercise to just suggest the textures elsewhere. 🎨 Full illustration ↓

A surprised expression accross his face while her's seems rather calm. Genuinly carring. The sun sets in front of them. making a distant cloud bright with yello-red saturated colors. Only half of their bodies is in the light.

I'm going to be off for a few days. Our youngest guinea pig, Ziggy, sadly has left us very suddenly... And I need to slow down to allow myself to grieve. It pains me that he didn't survive his elders, Capy & Bara, that are 6 years old. He was barely one. But I know we gave him a loving home.

Bumping this YCH! With a version for Emariee's Tav! I still have more slots to this mermay YCH! Their Tav being a Selûne Cleric with a bit of draconic blood, I found it great to give little moon and draconic vibe here and there!

On one of my first attempts I tried to put the body's side deformation. (This brush was more of a guide) But I didn't like it, not good to make the coily parts. But I guess it was okay combined with a deformation tool and a bit of liquify for big perspective shots.

I'm having fun when I create patterns for myself. I've just made a mermaid one! (Clip Studio Paint) This one is way better than my firsts, even though I often draw the scales "bare hands" because brushes don't follow exactly the body flow.
