The Associated Press projects that Derek Merrin, a former state representative, will win the Republican nomination for Ohio's 9th Congressional District. This means he'll once again face the Democratic incumbent, Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Toledo, in November.

The Democratic nominee for governor will be Dr. Amy Acton, former director of the Ohio Department of Health. Dr. Acton faced no primary challenge.

Earlier this evening, the Associated Press projected that entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy would win the Republican nomination for governor. Ramaswamy faced a primary challenge from Casey Putch.

The Associated Press projects that attorney John Kulewicz will win the Democratic nomination for Ohio Attorney General. Kulewicz faced a primary challenge from attorney, and former state representative, Elliot Forhan.

The Associated Press projects that Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague will win the Republican nomination for Ohio Secretary of State. Sprague faced a primary challenge from veteran Marcell Strbich.

#Oil: While the price per barrel of Brent crude is, still, well above where it was — before the U.S. war in Iran began — tonight's developments have pushed it down sharply.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has just shared this statement, which reads in part: "For a period of two weeks, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran's Armed Forces and with due consideration of technical limitations."
