I met a woman yesterday who said she doesn't read but would like to start doing so. By the end of our conversation, she'd written down the titles of two books I recommended and vowed to visit the library to obtain her first library card. Woot!
I am deeply saddened by the death of primatologist, author and environmental activist Jane Goodall. However, I'm also appreciative of all of the obituaries and tributes that are filling my feed. She will be missed. RIP.
