We are talking about the same Toph "Insurance Fraud" Beifong, right? Ya sure she's not a liar?
They outlawed bathrooms after their first contact with Termina.
Wind Waker, but not because I like it. The Triforce of Wisdom transforms Tetra, a dark-skinned leader of a gang of pirates, into Princess Zelda, a pale-skinned damsel in distress. This drastic change in character made Zelda's introduction off-putting and memorable for the wrong reasons.
Twilight Princess has a handful of bosses where you climb on their backs to smash their weak points. Those always felt cool, especially how the music changes when you get there.
If you see this, post 4 of your favorite Fire Emblem characters. -Ephraim -Dimitri (post-timeskip) -Cormag -Google Chrom
The job: Play the trumpet book. A reasonable ask: Cover what I can from the trumpet 2 book during breaks in the trumpet 1 book. Where I could've said no, but didn't: The same, but with the trombone book. What nobody asked, but I did anyway: Cover bass trombone parts on tuba.
This goddamn fetch quest. I've never once done it without a guide.
Adding another one to my SMN title card reaction image collection.
This guy from TotK randomly practicing French horn in a ditch.
I feel like I haven't talked about Groose's hair much recently. Groose's hair radiates so much aura that the rest of Groose goes almost entirely unnoticed throughout the game.
The starting area in MM where you discover that Link can do cool flips now.
Happy #Zelda40th! Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda and it's the reason why I'm a full-time musician today. Here's a brass ensemble cover of "Legend of Hyrule" which plays under the scene where we're first introduced to the lore of the Golden Goddesses. Enjoy!
FS manga. All four Links are distinct characters here. They have distinct shading differences and facial details in the black-and-white pages, but even if you're not paying super close attention to those subtleties, you can still often tell who's who by how they emote and act.
Minuet of Forest was one of the first songs I learned by ear on keyboard. Pretty sure it was this song that my mom caught me playing when she decided I needed to start piano lessons.
Zora Hall. Give me a stage and a swimming pool and I'll be happy.
Hero of Time. And it's not even close. It's such a great title that, at least going by the timeline, referring to SS Link as Hero of the Sky was eventually dropped in favor of calling him the first Hero of Time.
The contrast between the Mask Salesman's wisdom and knowledge vs. his comedic outbursts always stood out to me. The Moon Children were given the Mask Salesman's face texture in the 3DS version and I love the extra depth that connection adds to the Mask Salesman's mystique.
Because of this, Young Impa must live a distinct future from Old Impa, which means Old Impa must've come from a different past where Demise never awakened. This is evidenced by an early-game line where she says that Zelda shouldn't have descended to the surface "in the manner she did." (2/10)
The Ocarina of Time, but from Majora's Mask where it transforms into all the other instruments.
