Turn your face away From the garish light of day, Turn your thoughts away From cold, unfeeling light And listen to the music of humanity
...and two days on it is clear that Tim's message was paving the way for the Telegraph's current stance, which is: Climate change *is* real but for goodness sake can we get some perspective before we inadvertently make our rich friends a little less rich?
Ah, thanks John Rentoul for this profound observation. The Clacton by-election was of course a very serious affair necessitated by a very serious politician and everyone else is to blame for the failure to treat it seriously. (Also it is now a by-election about Ann Widdecombe or... something)
It's okay, we already have our 'There are worlds out there...' scene, and it's this one:
So it's going to be better than CGI is it Gareth? Well lucky us. Have fun y'all.
The kids I used to teach (8 to 13 years old) genuinely thought one of CGI's qualities was looking shonky. They talked about CGI like my generation talk about the special effects in Doctor Who. It's not hard to see why.

Daphne visiting Zoe in hospital unwittingly foreshadows her own death some two years later...
Sun setting, birds singing, in the garden chopping up pieces of chipboard loft panel. Feeling simultaneously at one with nature and uncharacteristically alpha male.
If this grammatical nightmare is representative of his style, I think he's better off letting AI write stuff for him
A search engine so prudish it denies the existence of the director of some of the most highly regarded episodes of early 80s Doctor Who... @ecosiasearch.bsky.social
The interesting thing about this article about Shabana Mahmood 'ending the wasteful use of taxis' is that, although it purports to be about how much asylum seekers cost the taxpayer, it turns out to be about how much Home Office incompetence costs the tax payer. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Giving this another push... at a time when social media is proving increasingly unreliable as a tool for self-publicity, I have taken matters into my own hands. Join my newsletter! At jameslark.co.uk
