“I remember when we were looking for ideas for the Time Stand Still video. It was a real change of direction for us, an introspective song about appreciating what you have in the moment, because so many of the things that make up who we are are gone in an instant. It’s a meditation on gratitude and the fragility of the human condition so we needed a video that reflected that. Then I said “ Let’s just kinda float around. And make it look as cheap as possible, like it’s a local ad for a furniture warehouse going out of business sale” and everyone was like “Yep, that’s definitely the way to go.”
