Old growth forests are worth more than every government official currently in office. And, unlike you, they can't be replaced.

No one should have the authority to destroy this precious monument of nature. Protect, preserve, and defend-- yes, that you should do. Harm? No.

#NDAA #Voting #military Every day it's something with this Congress

Election laws are not national defense. They do not belong in bills about military funding.

Obviously the military isn't funded. Because we have deployed service members lacking food, hygiene, and basic care. And our military can't even figure out how to do a supply drop!

Stop failing our military members. Stop trying to destroy voting rights. Stop being creepy and suspicious. Have some Honor!

SUPPORT Pennsylvania lawmakers considering a three-year pause on new data center construction, combined with mandatory environmental reviews before major projects can proceed.

The Emmaus Ave Allentown PA data center is across the street from apartments and a special needs school. That is not safe! Also, there are lightning bugs/ fireflies in this neighborhood, which are endangered and deserve our protection.

The proposal comes as AI infrastructure increasingly competes for electricity, water, and land.

Environmental reviews would give communities and legislative bodies better information about noise, water use, emissions, grid impacts and utility needs.

The people of Pennsylvania deserve their environment to be protected. Life before profits!

And absolutely NO residents should pay a cent more in utilities because there's some building wanting the power and water, etc.

Medicaid Guideline Epstein TRIALS Rant to Congressional Representatives via @resist.bot

The new Medicaid ruling laid down by Congress requires people to commit 80 hours a month (a job, education, or volunteer work).
That's the mandatory requirement for being disabled. Or for being the full-time caregiver of a disabled spouse (who is on Medicare and was the household health insurance provider before becoming disabled).

This guideline must be extended.

No more criminals "getting off" with less community service or prison time than Medicaid recipients!

Mandatory 100-hour minimum for anyone found guilty of any crime a judge rules on. Because if disabled people, and the caregivers of disabled people, need to do at least 80 for wanting to survive; then criminals must be required to do more! Even if they are sports champions, movie stars, or politicians. Time to prove that criminal behavior is worse than being disabled or a caregiver of a disabled person.

And once you've got that in place, get started on the Epstein TRIALS.

Cyclosporiasis, or the disease caused by the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis, is out of control.

The United States government should be able to guarantee safe food, water, and air in this country.

Have we tried properly funding some sort of Center for Disease Control and Prevention? A science based, non-political agency to keep track of such things and PROTECT the United States. That should be funded.

And probably an agency for protecting the environment. With strong regulations to protect things like ground water for agricultural/ farming purposes. Because that could help protect our food.

Maybe prioritize that.

And eliminate any "leaders" who stand in the way of making food safe in America again.

The so-called SAVE act is an illegal voter poll tax. Are you giving out free passports? Are you personally paying for passports?

Book bans are bad! #WeNeedDiverseBooks Support Literacy!!! I used @resist.bot to message my Congressional Representatives about this important matter.

Please SUPPORT
The Books Save Lives Act (HR 8235)
The Right to Read Act (HR 6440)
The Fight Book Bans Act (HR 7691)

Diverse books are important and should be in school libraries.
Federal Funding must be given to increase LITERACY, as it is the building block of all civilized cultures. Libraries should be extremely well funded!

OPPOSE HR 7661 until the language of the bill is more clearly defined. While children shouldn't be sexualized, the wording excludes everything, including biology and health textbooks. It is a hate weapon against some children rather than a shield of protection against pedophiles.
HR 8705 and HR 2616 are equally problematic as they target elimination of all books where race and gender are mentioned, thus banning most history books and causing prejudice rather than promoting equality and harmony.

Books are too important. And getting real reading material into the hands of children has never mattered more than it does in this digital age. We must do better!

And NO to AI Data Centers on farmland or within fifty miles of any residential area or school.
With one exception.
Instead of a ballroom, put a data center, EXACTLY like the others that are harming people, exact same standards, put one in the spot where that gaudy ballroom is planned. Because if it's safe enough for everyone else, then it's safe enough to share air, water, and land with the leader's residence. Right?

Try to start standing up for constituents.
Taking care of each other, THAT'S an American value.

Hegseth and Trump are holding this military encounter, war, engagement, tiff... whatever it's being called. Congress did not, should not, and must not approve of it.
BUT
The deployed military members are not at fault. They go where they are sent. And they must not be STARVED.

No arch.
No ballroom.
No golden bathroom, gold statues, or gaudy oval office decor.
FEED THE MILITARY.

Stop these absurd deployments. Iran, Cuba, parts of Africa, etc etc. No more being wasteful.
And not one penny to any insurrectionist for attacks on our nation.
But our actual active duty deployed service members? Feed them. Give them supplies to survive. And bring them home.

Care for our active and veteran military people. Stop failing our country at such an astounding level. There's no greatness left when we can't even feed our military. Stop allowing Trump to turn the United States into an undeveloped "third world" nation where good food, safe water, a clean environment, and proper health care are beyond reach. DO SOMETHING BETTER.

Pennsylvania should pass a law to PROTECT advocates and speakers who properly represent the LGBTQIA+ communities and abortion rights.

We need this to counter the horrible prejudice of Tennessee, where higher educational opportunities are now denied to people who seek to learn accurate and honest information on such topics.

We can't fix the prejudice, extremists, hatred, and pro-terrorism views of other states. But we could outlaw it here! I urge you to protect people, knowledge, and reality today!

Most medicine and medical advances must first undergo testing in lab animals, notably mice.

For advancements in health care, like anything related to the uterus, tests must first be SUCCESSFULLY performed on animals that are biologically not similar to humans.

Thus, advancement in health care for an organ like a human uterus is ridiculously slow.
