🧵 We need more stories about marginalized kids at the intersections. Kids who are queer, neurodivergent, and racialized, even if they don’t know it. I didn’t see myself in a book until I was 21. I never want another kid to feel as alone as I did—I wrote The Glade to encompass those intersections.

This is wonderful for this particular community, but queer/BIPOC books are being removed off the shelves ALL OVER the US. Most never get this kind of attention. There are several federal book banning bills rn. Call your reps (even in blue states!) to fight those and make an impact everywhere!!
