My mom had a paperback copy of Valley of the Dolls. I snuck it into my room and read it voraciously! That was a LONG LONG time ago! I remember how salacious it was (before I knew the meaning of that word)!

Peoria, Illinois. We call her Vanna Whitewall. She is a 17-foot-tall vintage fiberglass statue, a rare 1960s "Uniroyal Gal." This iconic figure is situated outside the Plaza Tire store on SW Washington Street, south of downtown Peoria, near the Cedar St. Bridge.
On closer look, all the entries are about "Plena," which is a great poem, so it's something!
