Sigh. Looks like another day of driving 80 miles round trip tomorrow. Even if I managed to get the train from Portadown 10 miles away, the first glider isn’t until 9:30am and I start work 9:15am tomorrow. 😡
12km with a 169m elevation this morning. I fear I will be sofa bound for the rest of the day! This was the only opportunity to run before Friday and I don’t want to lose momentum. Half marathon is 12th September so there’s lots of time but I just want to be well prepared. And fit to run it!
And now the Cheshire Cat - real name Prince - has also appeared. Look at his eyeliner! Maybe it’s the ghost of Marvin that’s attracting them?! But it’s more likely the fact my sister feeds them kibble… 😻 😹😹😹
New kit on the block who clearly wants to be adopted by my sister. Despite undoubtedly having servants already! 😹😹😹
Gifted to me by my great aunt Mary from Motherwell, a teacher. And a far lot of good it did me. Called out regularly in primary school for “having stitches like cats’ teeth” and in grammar school it somehow took me 2 years to finish machine sewing a skirt. 😂😱😂
Beautiful Gosford Forest Park this morning. So lovely to walk in the shade. Although the BIG HAT was worn! 😂
Productive day - fridge now thoroughly cleaned out and old stuff disposed of. And I’m definitely getting better as there was less food waste this time. Such a satisfying feeling. I hate chores like this but I love the feeling when they’re done! 😍
OMG - my first performance at Stirling University! I played Mary Boyle, who actually opens the play. I still remember the line! “On a little byroad, out beyond Finglas he was found…” 🤣🤣🤣
Look at this new friend I met on on a walk earlier. I think she’s a female - she’s SO friendly and I’m a teeny bit in love! 🥰
Looking at the size of this monster jellyfish, I’m quite glad I didn’t take the waters! 😱😱😱
Warrenpoint this afternoon. In glorious sunshine. Carlingford Lough straddles NI (Warrenpoint, Rostrevor, Cranfield) and the Republic of Ireland (Omeath, Carlingford, Greenore). Breathtaking!
Look what my lovely little painter left for me today. So sweet and so polite! He’s also done an excellent job so I’m feeling accomplished! 😍
Placemats from the 1970’s. They’re linen and actually still in an OK condition! I love the pattern!
This beautiful lady lives in my development. I have called her Madame Floof. I saw her on the green at 6:15am the other day, living her best life. 😻
Look at the face. He’s so totally at home. Except his own servants live next door!!! 😹 😻🐈⬛❤️
That is shocking. However - in unrelated news- I am just jumping on here to introduce Jasper to Jasper! 🐈⬛😻🐈⬛
