July 9 books read; 59/60 for the goal. Should hit my goal for the year sometime this weekend coys. El Akkad and Vuong were underwhelming given the reviews, and a rare miss from Erdrich, but can always rely on Nordic crime to get me through.
Haven't watched a ton of movies lately (been rewatching The Wire (again)) but still some good ones in here
June. 9 books read; 50/60 for the yearly goal. On pace for 100 if I keep it up. Jones, Orange, Kuang were the new authors this month. The Everett/Kincaid book was hilarious and Dark Iceland has been a solid enough series so far. Heard a lot of good things about Kuang and Babel was a solid start.
Spent several hundred dollars on this new box for the cat. And it came with a free computer too!
I've said it before but I need to teach this moron to read a radar so she stops screaming to go into her playhouse when there's severe weather coming
May. 7 books read (+1 DNF); 41/60 for the yearly goal. Ragnar Jónasson for my new author this month plus a few regular favorites in Wagamese, Nesbø, and Backman. I don't DNF books very often but I didn't even get 100 pages into the Towles book. Disappointing given how many people recommended it.
April. 8 books read; 34/60 for the yearly goal. We'll see if I can keep it up but on pace for 100 this year. New authors this month were Nigar Alam and Marjan Kamali.
