Came to social media for the tech and a bit of fun. Stayed for the politics and keeping up with the existential threats to humankind.
This month, the diminutive Grafton Gallery be mostly about, the cormorant.
Raspberries this year were gone in a blink. But the blackberries are phenomenal.
Starlings in front garden flew off in all directions in a blind panic, and one stuck around just a little bit dazed for a while. Then I spotted what spooked them.
Guilty of misleading speculation?! Misleading the speculation? Guilty of it? WTF?
Watching this graph roll out in 2024 was worrying. In 2025 it was frightening. 2026 says “hold my beer…”
This is straight from the oligarchs. Make no mistake, they want us to hate each other so we destroy each other. They want an empty world all to themselves. This is their dream. This is their aim. Fewer people. They’ve actually been telling us this for a long time.
Just back from the allotment. So hot. So dry. Multiple models to take on different roles is a great idea. Never debug with the model that wrote the code, because it just comes to the same conclusions and misses the same bugs.
We are leading up to some very dangerous times. They know this are trumped up charges, fabricated lies and Fauci cannot go to prison for this. They also know they have a country full of crazy gun owners that lap up these lies and will take action into their own hands. Kennedy knows what he’s doing.
Starting the day as I mean to go on. Brought in the cat who was scaring the blackbird (but is actually scared of the blackbird because he has no teeth now), and fed a bumblebee crawling along the path outside.
Beef brisket on, now just to forget about it for six hours. Got a plot to dig and stuff to plant.
The diminutive Grafton Gallery has a new display up - favourite TV characters :-)
Spotted a 7-circuit labyrinth on the beach today. Followed of course by a dive into the history, uses, methods of building to a depth I wasn’t expecting today.
Took about an hour to create an app for an ESP32 to monitor temperatures and provide it via a web page to my app over the local network. That included all the wiring for the prototype. You just need an immediate need, and it’s insanely easy now to pull hardware and software together.
When I say the fifteen minute city conspiracies are just oligarch projection, this is what I mean. The billionaires want to control the movements of the population, and the billionaires want us to fear the mysterious “elites” who they claim - with lots of details - want to do this to us. Projection.
Oof. The number one response to tweets these days seems to be “grok is this true?”
A cute little art gallery has opened around the corner from me. When a say little, I mean tiny.
