poor jellies

A compass jellyfish, about 4 inches across, transparent with dark red spots around the bottom of its cap, washed up on wet sand.

Another washed up compass jellyfish with the underside of the cap and short trailing tentacles clearer to see.

I am Seated to finish my chapters for rescheduled book club tonight.

ran out of food for a couple of days because I can't walk to the shop that stocks the stuff they like on my broken foot, but the goldfinches have forgiven me and have been here all day absolutely horsing the "rspb favourites mix". out of shot is the wood pigeon hoovering up the bits they drop.

annoying! it hurts more than I thought it would and I'm tiring out and getting annoyed quite fast! and then if I sit too long I get annoyed and get restless legs! but I am jackdaw watching in one of my fave cafes opposite the bookshop so it could be worse I guess
