This guy was So Over It at the local street market this weekend. Felt very sorry for him & his buddies, they all looked really pissed off #owl

The owl is quite large with mostly orangey-brown plumage. He has quite spectacular feathered eyebrows (not ears!) and his piercing orange eyes are partially closed.
He looks really, really pissed off.

I am quite a long way up a hill in the #LakeDistrict (better phone signal up here than in the hotel!), so here’s a photo of the view

Got some excellent (if I say so myself) bee photos this morning while we were waiting on campus for other people to arrive. There were two very busy feeding on a thistle. #bees I’m particularly proud of the third pic 🐝

Snoozing Tasha on my* office chair on her cooling mat with a fan on my desk blowing cool air but no she’s not spoilt at all… #Caturday *it’s her chair, obvs. I just use it when I’m wfh

Gently snoring striped tabby cat loosely curled up on her side. She is on a grey cooling mat which is in turn on a grey office chair, which has a purple cardigan over the back of it.
The bottom of my orange sundress is next to it in a nice colour contrast way.
The photo is taken from above, so there’s a laminate wood-effect floor, and my feet in black sandals peeping out from under my dress.

Don’t get me started! Plastic screws that lose grip or snap after a couple of months; springy useless page holder things… This is my stand: all metal & currently supporting quite the weight of music for the prom concert

Because it’s a concert day I’ve changed my earrings from my normal ones. Technically they are stitch markers but they are so ace it’s a #WhyNotBoth situation - they were a birthday present

Went to #Tynemouth Priory & Castle this afternoon. Very grey & breezy but had a good wander round. Favourite photo is this door with its gorgeous hinges (or the ghost of hinges in places)
