Huh, and we thought Russia, (vodka) France (wine) and Germany (beer) had a drinking problem. "The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) is one of the largest alcohol retailers in the world." Nope, it's us, Ontario.
I know, but that's like saying one can smoke responsibly. It's just not possible. (and I really miss smoking) We've been led to believe that in moderation it's harmless - it's not. One can't deny the fact the world would be a better place without it. Why is that so difficult?
Can’t wait for @mark-carney.bsky.social to recommend Lilt of Laughter, Trace of Tears, stories from Country Mayo for a run at the National Arts Centre for their 2027/28 season! 😁🎭🇮🇪
It is a simple form. It requires little more than a voice, an imagination and a willing audience. Yet it remains one of the most powerful ways we have of connecting with one another.
I am drawn to one of theatre's oldest traditions: a performer standing before an audience and holding their attention through story, character, humour and humanity. www.jaywalkingguelph.ca/lilt-of-laug...

Anyone else find it strange that whenever there is an article about government finance they show pictures of cash? Who uses cash, especially in huge financial transactions? That's like showing a ☎️when talking about a phone.
It’s not the weather that I am worried about, it’s the policies of Doug Ford that threatens our safety. There should be a huge Conservative logo on the front cover. That’s what is terrifying and a danger to your family.
The 2026 season is underway. No, you can’t book it online. I’m happy to speak with you on the phone OR email me for details. Let’s make it a personal experience. Groups of 4 or more only. Any day, any time. www.jaywalkingguelph.ca/walking-tours
“I so loved spending time with Jay. There’s a deep humour in these stories—even in the most tragic moments—that feels oddly comforting right now.” — Audience member www.jaywalkingguelph.ca/lilt-of-laug...

Well Mark Carney certainly has the job of Politician down pat now and I mean that in a positive way. He inspires. That's leadership. I may want more 'socialist' and environmental leadership but it also has to make economic sense because in the end, like it or not, everything is about money.
If you’re coming to Guelph to see Lilt of Laughter, Trace of Tears riverrun.ca/whats-on/lil... on Thursday, stick around there’s plenty to see and do. Amazing limestone architecture.

And the best time to have those hard conversations will be this summer when the province is on fire again. www.bbc.com/news/article...
Detective work. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/... So can we confirm without a doubt that these are Canadian Blueberries stolen from Canadian Bears? 🙂 Or did some Oxford Blueberries find their way in?
