Pretty solid harvest this morning. That’s my first zucchini ever. Probably grabbed it a little early, but given how fast it showed up, was worried it might double in size by tomorrow
Finished up S1 of Star City. It served as an excellent companion to For All Mankind, but easily stands on its own as a standalone alternate history show. If you enjoyed Chernobyl or Man in the High Castle, this could be up your alley
And in other backyard garden news, there’s a tiny sugar baby watermelon growing! This is my third attempt at them and now something is actually happening!
The berries just keep on coming. Have a whole ziplock full of them. The jam haul is going to be epic this year.
The part that gets me is FIFA absolutely knows it hit that cable and chose to look the other way.
I’m sure @last.fm must be like “I see you woke up and chose violence this morning” 😂
And just in case anybody really needs to see the issue laid bare, here it is. You’ve got a group of users who represent the 45th most listened artist scrobbling 86 million tracks in the last week, which is more than the top 15 artists combined.
Any zucchini tips? I’ve tried before and not succeeded with them germinating
June garden update. Everything is running wild. Haven’t really curated much this year, but loving everything coming up.
Thought this was pretty hilarious. 2 listeners, 3 scrobbles, but I’ve apparently already listened to this song once on @chirpradio.org
I started a rewatch of For All Mankind ages ago and finally got back to it. The levels of emotional impact this show hits for me is unreal. Some of the events in S1 are up there with some of the greatest television ever made IMO.
I think this is one of my favourite things about @chirpradio.org, that they enforce mixed genre playback. I feel like it might have one of the diverse and deep playlists of the many stations I listen to.
My favourite has been all the sunflowers. I planted a bunch of seeds this year, but I’ve had difficulty getting them to come up as now there’s more shade going on as things mature.
