I just created my first fully local agent to pull used car data for me, one handed because she's asleep on me.
I took this pic, you can't tell me that's not a Doom level.
LOOK, THIS IS 2023, THERE'S MIKE JOHNSON, EVERYBODY FACING INWARDS AT THE WEBSTER QUOTE.
Even better, when you click on the biographies they've got on the pages, THEY'RE ALL FACING OPPOSITE OF THE INDICATED DIRECTION ON THE PAGE. THESE GUYS ARE ON THE EASTERN WALL "FACING LEFT"
Matter of fact, if you look on the left side of that photo, you can see the BACKS of the heads of the reliefs next to Moses, who's facing the Speaker.
The Eastern half (the right side of the diagram, because it's upside down compasswise) should be facing left according to the webpage. Except they don't, they face right, towards the Speaker's seat. oops, reality stepped in.
Except there's something funny about that statement, because of the actual orientation of the room, you see. They helpfully provide a diagram, noting Moses' relief in the center of the north wall of the gallery. Moses supposes his toeses are roses.
"The architect of the Capitol emphasizes the 22 other lawgivers...are oriented "so that all look towards...Moses in the center of the north wall." Which seemed odd to my memory, so I had to go look for myself. Where did that quote come from?
Truly the real friends were the sickos we met along the way @sickoscommittee.org
post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't nirvana, pearl jam, soundgarden, or Alice In Chains. There are no words for what Tom Petty's music means to me. This was, to me, his finest album. And it was my first.
