We are 5 miles (out of 17) into the overnight walk. It is 11:19 pm. And we ate being told to shelter in place because of severe weather. This is new. Ho0efully we get to keep going. Thanks to CVS for letting us take over your store #OvernightWalk
At the #OvernightWalk they give colored beads to represent why people are at the walk. Red for losing parents. White for loss of a child. Gold for a parent. &more. Thousands of walkers, some wear one bead, some wear many. But each strand tells a story. Each is a person. Each is a reason we're here

Dad was the most loving, giving, caring, happy person i knew. But he was rotting inside, convinced we'd somehow be better off without him. People's outter shell doesn't tell the whole story. Make sure you are open to signs of pain. Tell people you love them while you're able
Dad should be playing these clubs, not me. Besides thousands of rounds of golf, he also missed innumerable other items. He never met his children's spouses. He never met his grandkids What would you miss if you were gone?
These golf clubs have been played 26 times in the last 27 years On May 3rd 1999 my dad, Dick Frank Dart, died of a self inflicted gunshot wound. Suicide took him at 43 years old He played golf with these clubs 7 days a week. I now play them once a year on May 3rd, because they should be played
