Had a chance to see the Level Up Game Showcase this week for my first time. My friend was showcasing their game from the Mohawk College game development program. Congrats to all the students.
Doing some paperwork for income taxes and I log into up Wave. Then this guy pops up 👋🏾 @williamhperkins.bsky.social
Ok I made a mistake. The State of Play is a section on the Collections page. I’m viewing on my desktop browser. Really it should be on the homepage with a big graphic ala The Game Awards gets treated on the PS Store. I mean this is your event, SIE. Make it pop! Also this is a bad cropping job.
A few weeks ago, I attended DesignWalks 2. Our group gathered at Nathan Philip Square as we headed for coffee at Hailed Coffee. Afterwards, we visited the AGO for some observations and sketching exercises. In the evening, a few of us went to AboveGround Art Store near OCADU to pick up some supplies.
Sad by the passing of legendary artist Drew Struzan. His iconic work was a massive inspiration. I’ll never forget meeting him at Fan Expo. As he signed my Back to the Future poster, I told him I was an illustrator, and his entire face lit up. A true master who encouraged others. He will be missed.
I decided to get back to doing watercolour. I figured I'll use it as an outlet to practice and relax in my laundry room (yes I'm lacking workspace), and apply these skills for a future side project. A couple of flowers I painted based on photographs taken by my dad, who also planted these flowers.
So the Wonder Woman game was cancelled, but this still got greenlit? The promo art looks so much like Marvel Rivals. Yet the game is a complete mismatch. You wonder why WB is in so much trouble.
It’s been a while. Testing the 3D printer getting it set up again for a possible Xmas miracle. Hohoho🎅🏾
There was a hole in my Logitech MX mouse. So I covered up the cracking rubber pad with electrical tape. I spent a lot at the time, and I wasn’t ready to e-waste it. #graphicdesign
