Good morning! I stumbled upon this gorgeous cover and the book is delightfully lighthearted and fun. The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association by Caitlin Rozakis I have the sequel, Startup Hell, ready to read next.

I kept seeing this one everywhere so I had it on hold at my library!

Preordered the audiobook version of "Rapport: Friendship, Solidarity, Communion, Empathy" - a Murderbot Diaries short story by Martha Wells, narrated by Kevin R. Free. Comes out September 1st. The ebook version came out last July. I hope the other short stories get audiobooks, too.

Well that was a first! I read and reviewed an ARC the same day it was sent to me! (Audiobook less than 4 hours long) But it did have me wondering, though. I always answer no about connecting with the authors.That's what I do on social media, so I should start saying "yes" right?!? #Netgalley

My daughter came in because she was bored, so I proceeded to summarise the ELEVEN books I'm in the process of reviewing. She clocked me talking nonstop for thirty minutes and then left. I LOVE TALKING ABOUT BOOKS! Figured I'd share since I've never multitasked this much in my life. #BookSky

Since these are both second books of series, this means I have FOUR books to read when I finish the current ARC I'm reading. Yes, these skip the TBR line straight to the front of the line. You should add them all to yours, if you haven't already.

Re-listening to this excellent novella in preparation for the second half of the duology which comes out this month. I still get chills from the line: the cruelty is the point.

Tracked a package I'm waiting on. It went from Atlanta, USA to Houston, USA to Madrid, Spain to Chicago,USA. My package has done more traveling than I have this year.

I'm enjoying the ARC of Chaotic Orbits by Beth Revis, which is an omnibus collection of three novellas, with a new bonus short story. I had the pleasure of meeting her at the Georgia Renaissance Festival in May & buying those novellas directly from her - and she signed them for me! She's fabulous.

Oh, I they are absolutely going to be my practice pieces. I have 197 stitches to try on this machine, plus it does 110 different embroidery stitches. Although I will need lighter fabric to see all the things... hmm...

Ordered some fabric squares to work on getting to know my new sewing machine. Picked out the ones I know I won't use in projects. Can you tell I don't like the color brown?

I've known for years that I shared a birthday with the lovely Felicia Day, but how did I go my whole life without knowing I also shared a it with Mel Brooks?!? Happy 100th birthday to the master of comedy! Felicia and I are in our forties. For me, it's my last year before the dreaded fifties.

Tried two more books and decided I just need a quality reread. If you haven't read #TheScholomance by Naomi Novik, it's brilliant.

This is my second attempt at reading this book - I have the sequel as an ARC - but it's hard to get into and I can't decide if it's the narrator or not. Anyone have encouragement that it's worth sticking with? #BookSky

Listening to Bad Boy Era by Amy Daws and part of the story centers around Trinity College, Dublin. I spent a few days living on campus in 2024 and the memories sent me down a rabbit hole in which I spent two hours searching one topic and then another, and another.
