Taylor works out of a city my brother works for. They’re still lax on sanitation and are repeat offenders on health inspections. I’ve hesitated from buying their kits since then. This was his response to the news.
I spoke with Mitch McConnell for 20 minutes today. We talked about the war in Gondor, dragons, the Ring, and reclaiming Moria.
In order to protect their privacy in the Internet, I’ll give you their kitty names instead of given names. Snapdragon and Fluzzle.
And this building is in Los Angeles. I love British Neopalladian architecture, but it looks absurdly out of place in Los Angeles. Austere designs fit LA best, be it Colonial, Mission Revival, Art Deco, or Modern.
If only there were evidence that there was a broad far-right nativist trend across the global west, including the “country of Europe,” that each European country claims it’s immune to. It’s great how no one can understand general global politics without a doctoral thesis on each European country.
Ah, yes. I can tell from the label it’s a bottle of Chateau Marx-Lenin Sauvignon Blanc, definitely the 1948 vintage, worth $7,000,000,000 a case. Because all wine is prohibitively expensive. There are some DSA figures I dislike for personal/professional reasons. But they’re not champagne socialists.
This is what leads to the arguments that Tikka Masala isn’t British. It happened just minutes ago by someone from Wales. It’s a ridiculous double standard that the UK has held for centuries.
I remember my design history class in college. The original seal of the US proposals were very much the same. Benjamin Franklin’s was particularly bad, being an overdone picture of Moses and the Red Sea.
That, or they put too much literal symbolism into imagery like in state seals and flags. Lots of kitschy landscapes with too many literal images thrown into them. Parks and Rec barely used satire in that regard.
Remember to check your zucchini plants every day. Some act like Easter eggs until they grow the size of a watermelon.
Most polls say voters found her to be too far to the left, so your criticism of her as center right isn’t rooted in reality.
Where I live, Republicans dropped their 2020 candidate for House for commenting “Don’t feed the animals” while talking about immigration. Let’s look at the kind of people Platner “accidentally” did an interview with this year. But he’s from Maine and will beat Collins, so it’s evidently ok. 🙄
Both got the Bernie endorsement. And Platner can’t even stop giving space to homophobic antisemitic as soles while he’s on the campaign trail. He’s a terrible candidate. Maine voters are too easily convinced with words.
Platner fans are apparently like MAGA where alternative facts are the only ones that matter, apparently.
Because she was promoting neoconfederate propaganda. If someone falls for an argument promoted by the Daughters of the Confederacy, I don’t need them in my life. Especially if I can’t say I’ve met them in person.
As a guy with Jewish immediate family and knows what it’s like when a synagogue where they live has a mass shooting attack it, go celebrate with the guy Israel endorsed. Or at least take the knife out of Democrats’ back first.
I just had my first homemade pickles! Best pickles I’ve had? Not quite. Great? Yes. Extremely hobbitish? Absolutely.
The underlying joke of “Oh, Mary!” is the equivalent of “We need a ballroom for national security!” The satirical depiction of Mary Todd Lincoln used for comedy has become political reality in this White House.
If only there was a way to figure out which candidate was going to enable genocide more…. Something subtle, like a billboard.
@littlefreelibrary.bsky.social I got to see the most amazing little free library today! It’s outside of the Glessner House in Chicago, a masterpiece of 19th century architecture that anticipated future developments.
He’s lying when he says DC doesn’t have an arch. DC has two: One to honor the Pacific Theater in WWII, the other to honor the European Theater. With a Cenotaph for each state between them. Quite reasonably sized. He’s jealous they honor the sacrifice of many, not the ego of himself.
Strange. Never heard evidence that Jimmy Carter committed a crime, and he did half of the accomplishments Reagan stole credit for. The CIA still did horrifying acts, but linking it to Carter is hard to do. It seems Republican justices believe Republicans Presidents can’t do the job without crimes.
