I'm among the first to rage against my school administrators when they mess up, so I also have to give them credit when they get it right. I assume they sent similar postcards to the other AP teachers in my school, but this was my first year teaching it, so it felt good to get this today.
Fast forward eleven years and they had some kids (I'm in the lower right, and I'm great)
I'm at my parents house and we're helping my pops with computer stuff, and I'm going through his photo albums. This was 1963. How they have stayed together since is a mystery.

This weekend is gonna be miserable 😭😭😭 "It's a dry heat" is indeed a thing, but it only goes so far.

Update: Mike the Dog doesn't mind. There aren't many neighborhood fireworks going off around us, technically they're banned statewide in Utah this year bc of wildfires, but uh...freedom. so there are a few pops outside.
From eleven years ago: Lucky (RIP) was the first dog I ever had that was *terrified* of fireworks. I had never seen anything like it. They don't seem to bother Mike the Dog as much, but for pups who hate them, they make for the worst night. Take care of your furry friends tonight.

Wildfires in the Salt Lake City area are popping off, this was last night. The lights in the bottom right are hospitals next to the University of Utah. All much closer to the city than I'd like.
