Tinkering with some bits to set up an audio ingest station to look at digitising the vast amount of organ music tapes and records we have. A very nice Tascam CD-A500 for tape stuff. And a Pro-ject Primary E record deck for the vinyl. Fed into the tascam US 16x08 in my recording rig.
How different yet similar to the MK4. I need to get around to stripping and repairing the mullard. Needs caps and resistors looking at to get it to do measurements properly.
And done. Feels a bit weird to have bits cut on a modern as fuck machine that doesn't even touch them, that then go into an instrument from the 1800s.... But is good we can keep them going! ^_^

Spent the past 2 evenings building up the cabinets in the living room. TV no longer looks all alone on the wall now! Also populated the cabinets as they didn't look right empty!
Mum's place had a burst pipe - Pipe went, and took out the ceiling in the kitchen, living room and dining room. along with everything that was in there. Kinda cemented our minds on just binning a load of stuff o.< Today went up to put lights back in after plastering was done.

That's us! ^_^ Our babies! Was left the Megger one when a friend passed. then while clearing some more of their estate found the Mullard and probably a full set of cards+spares o.o Megger works perfectly. The Mullard needs work as it's registering all valves as good. Even known bads.
Just had a proper fucking gut punch. Sorting the lab into place. Found this crib sheet for Lucian's valve tester..... With his hand written notes and my scribbles from the last time I saw him well enough to work.
