A sudden influx of new followers? Hello. Welcome. Here's a cat picture. It is a very rare picture of all of my cats together on the cat tower in my office. Mena, Mimir, Freya, and Leeloo.

So. This is my kitchen for the next 4 days with fans and dehumidifier. I insisted they screw down the board that is cracked to the crawlspace to keep my cats in and other local wildlife out. (IE: the bobcat, coyotes, cats, raccoons, and squirrels)

4 blue fans and 1 large blue dehumidifier sit on a kitchen floor facing the open gap left behind when the dishwasher was removed. The cabinets are 40 year old old, some of the tiles have been pulled up, and there are water stains all around the area. What you can't see is the incredible amount of noise this water mitigation is making.

Sometimes, when you visit @seananmcguire.bsky.social, you become cat furniture. I was blessed with love from Meg, Kelpie, and Thomas. I have evidence of Thomas using me as a warm pillow.

Jennifer is a warm body for Thomas, a large senior Maine Coon cat in a bright orange and black shirt. He rests comfortably high on her shoulder/chest, partially eclipsing Jennifer's smiling face. Thomas is giving the camera some epic side-eye at being interrupted in his dignified rest.

From last night before game, I dropped something upstairs (my iPad, still plugged in, it scrapped down the side of my desk). Downstairs, Mimir was like "what the hell was that?" The Husband sent me the picture. I didn't know his tail could get so big.

A moment where Mighty Mimir wants to know "What the hell?" He is a black spotted silver Egyptian Mau cat, pictured from the backside. His ears are erect, his body tense, and his normally slender tail looks like a bottle brush at least 3x its normal size. He stands on a wood floor, peeking around a cabinet in the direction of the stairs (where the strange noise came from).

Dinosaur down! Big winds last night took out Spike. Poor dinosaur hasn't had a good year. This is the second time in 2 months storms have taken him out.
